Board of Directors
Qualifications:
2. Must be a member of the cooperative for more than three (3) years.
3. Must have a share deposit of at least Ten Thousand Pesos (PhP10,000.00)
4. Bachelor’s degree holder (4-year course).
5. Must have supervisory/managerial experience or has been a committee chair/member of the cooperative (SBMA-EWMPC) for at least 3 years.
6. At least undergone training on basic cooperative course (applicable for re- election)
7. Has signified in writing that he/she has the time to serve the general membership, continually learn matters pertaining to cooperative operation by undergoing continuing training and education and will have “malasakit” for the sake of the cooperative.
8. Must possess all qualification and none of the disqualifications.
Disqualifications
1. Must not be a Board of Director, committee chair or member, officer, consultant of other cooperative/s.
2. Having conflict of interest with the business of the Cooperative.
3. For re-electionists, having been absent for three (3) consecutive Board meetings without being excused or having a total of eight (8) absences per year, irrespective of the reasons.
4. Have been convicted of any administrative and/or criminal case.
5. Have been expelled as Board member for a cause. 6. Have been delinquent in the payment of his/her own account or in the account where he/she acts as a co-maker/guarantor of loans of others.
Audit Committee
Qualifications
1. The candidate must be a member in good standing in accordance with the cooperative’s By-Laws.
2. Must be a member of the cooperative for more than one (1) year.
3. Must have a share deposit of at least Six Thousand Pesos (PhP6,000.00)
4. Bachelor’s degree holder in Commerce/Business Administration or other related course.
5. Must possess sound judgment, a general level of business knowledge and be independent and impartial as possible.
6. Must possess financial knowledge and technical skills.
7. Must be inquisitive and possess the capability to ask relevant questions for clarification and understanding.
8. Has signified in writing that he/she has the time to serve the general membership, continually learn matters pertaining to cooperative operation by undergoing continuing training and education and will have “malasakit” for the sake of the cooperative.
